My 15 year old daughter attends a Char - Em school and is in 10th grade Biology Class. Today she informed me that they are drawing body parts as an assignment and students will be drawing male and female genetalia and one kid is drawing an anus.I was wondering if anyone else in the district has a 10th grader and if this is common curriculum - I have been shaking my head since she told me. This is unnecessary and wrong. Thanks for any feedback.
The teacher made the kids change their body parts. One kid did draw the Uterus, because it looked like a goat head, but besides that, everything else was clean.
