Study Suggests Oil Dispersant Used in Gulf Oil Spill Causes Lung Injuries
A new study done by the University of
Alabama Birmingham suggests that the oil dispersant Corexit EC9500A,
used in the BP oil spill that happened on April 20, 2010, causes human
lung injuries, as well as damage to fish and crab gills.
