In 2012, I was a medical marijuana cardholder in Michigan in which I used home grown marijuana to help treat my chronic pains in both my lower back and neck. As a result of having my card, I was raided by city police as well as CPS (child protective services) for growing in a home with a minor (my 10 year old son) present. City police stated that my locked and ventilated grow room was harmful to my sons health and placed him with his mother in a different town and that I was to not have any contact with my son until further notice. As a good parent, like myself, I couldnt not see nor talk to my son.
