Unbelievable that certain proposals are not only considered but that people high up in authority of both the US government and Canadian government actually looks at these ideas and thought “hey, that is a good idea!”
Ontario Power Generation (OPG)has proposed building a “deep geologic repository” (DGR)to store approximately 53 million gallons of nuclear waste in Kincardine, Ontario, less than a mile from Lake Huron.

The fact that Lake Huron is connected to all the other Great Lakes via waterways has also drawn concern, since the five bodies of water make up the largest collection of freshwater lakes on the Earth and provide drinking supplies to tens of millions of Americans and Canadians.
