Judge John Mercer Walker, Jr now seated on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City killed a police officer.
Officer, Daniel Picagli, who was directing traffic at a road construction site for AT&T in New Haven, Connecticut was struck and killed by Judge Walker who was driving home in a Ford Escape.
New Haven police said the cause was not related to drugs or alcohol but admit they did not test the Judge to see if he was sauced on the way home from work!
