A Michigan couple has been arrested and thrown in jail for the “crime” of keeping chickens on their own property.
Theresa Hurst and her husband decided to raise chickens because
they like the idea of being more self-sufficient, they want to know
where their food is coming from, and they enjoy having fresh food
available.
