Montana man saves newborn moose after he found it crying next to its dead mother and calls rescue team who horrify him by SHOOTING it dead and blowing up the body

• Josh Hohm found an orphaned newborn moose in Montana's Gallatin National Forest this past Memorial Day 
• After calling the state Fish, Wildlife and Parks Service, officials arrived and shot the moose dead instead of taking in the orphan 
• A representative of the office says this is common procedure in Montana, since moose, elk and deer carry deadly disease
