Think Twice Before Thanking Me For MY Service

Make Sure You Know What You Are Thanking Me For

When you thank people for “military service”, young people see that and it encourages them to join the military, which is only a “service” to the empire.  In doing so, you are participating in the death and destruction of innocent peoples and their homes.  This killing machine you are thanking people for serving has 20 million dead in its wake since WWII.  Most of them were innocent civilians and often of the combatants were also innocent civilians before their homes were invaded by this monster you support with such glee.
On top of that, they, we, have done nothing for you to deserve your thanks.  It is not us who have made you free.  You are not free anyway but even the level of freedom you have didn’t come from us.  It comes from the governments’ fear that you will rise up and overthrow them…. oh and who would the government use against you decided to do that?  That’s right…us.  So not only do we not make you free, those of us who join that monster machine that is the military, make it possible for the lack of freedom you currently live under.
