POLICE SHOOT MENTALLY ILL NORTHERN MICHIGAN MAN -The Story of Craig Carlson

This sad story is just another example of overkill and abuse of power here in Northern Michigan. This man needed help and now he is dead at the hands of the police. There seems to be a pattern here.

The worst part is the fact that none of these people ever express remorse or shame for their hideous behavior. It is just business as usual and another good citizen goes down as another sickening case of "collateral damage."

Kudos to the Northern Express and The Boyne City Gazette ( for their coverage of the Charlevoix County prosecutor's wife's 911 domestic violence report and for covering the Wayne Wynkoop tragedy) for having the courage to speak truth to power and to actually inform the public, rather than mislead them.

I hope that this blog pricks the conscience of the reader and causes them to ask themselves when enough is enough.
