• Della Curry, 35, was fired from Dakota Valley Elementary school in Colorado after only a year on the job 
• Says she knew it was a fireable offense to give away meals to students who did not qualify for a free or reduced-cost lunch program 
• To qualify for free lunch program, family of four must have annual income that does not exceed $31,000
