- Dr John Henry Hagmann trained troops in battlefield medicine for years as a government contractor
- When his unorthodox training methods came to light, the Virginia Board of Medicine decided to suspend Hagmann's license
- The board decided Friday to permanently revoke that license
- Military documents show officials have been concerned about Hagmann's training, at least since 2005
- Hagmann is accused of giving his students hallucinogens and alcohol, and making them insert catheters in each other
- Others say Hagmann also induced trainees into shock by withdrawing blood to mimic a battlefield injury
- Students testified Friday that Hagmann also performed penile nerve blocks and private rectal exams
- Last week, the Navy and Special Forces dropped Hagmann's company as a contractor
