When it comes to politics, economics, social matters, or virtually any subject matter you can think of today, America has deep, deep, systemic problems, and we’re seeing just the beginning of people starting to lash out. Last night, the Bundy Militia’s takeover of a federal refuge in Burns, Oregon took a drastic turn for the worse when eight members of the militia’s leadership, including Ammon Bundy, were arrested after a brief shootout along the highway that ended with the death of one of Bundy’s crew. Allegedly the man shot was unarmed, and he was shot three times. The ”ripple effect,” or the “aftershock” of what is happening in Oregon remains to be seen, but it’s safe to say there will be one…
With regard to politics, Captain “Hope and Change” has driven a wedge between the American people so badly, and caused so much anger, that even within the Republican Party the debates are getting so heated between both the candidates and their supporters, that they are starting to make the final showdown between Rocky and Ivan Drago in 1984’s Rocky IV look like a love story by comparison.
