These people, many of whom are probably voters, are informed that Dr
Martin Luther King passed away this morning, with reactions indicative
of their lack of education and their apathy. With a public like this
it’s apparent why it was such a wise business decision for Amazon.com to
diversify their product line away from their original “books only”
business model.
Their responses to the news cover a spectrum from feigned sadness and
that being a favorite speech to the hope that he will serve as a role
model for other black astronauts in the future.
