Tuesday morning, as Dr. Jonathan Gruber was testifying before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform,  Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY)76% revealed some surprising words previously written by President Obama’s trusted economic advisor. According to Massie, Gruber co-authored a paper in 1997 titled: Abortion Legalization and Child Living Circumstances: Who is the “E:Marginal Child?”  In it, Gruber wrote:

From these results, we estimate that the legalization of abortion saved the government over $14 billion in welfare payments through 1994.

In other words, murdering unborn poor children is good for the American economy. Gruber went on in his paper to state:

By 1993, all cohorts under age 18 were born under legalized abortion, and we estimate steady state savings of $1.6 billion per year from positive selection. (emphasis mine)
