Cop Prevents Detained Citizens from Being Searched, Saying ‘I Swore An Oath to the Constitution’

We often hear about how there are “good cops” out there. But the funny thing is, if there are so many “good cops,” they rarely seem to stand up for the rights of citizens.
Recently, however, one officer stuck up for citizens who were being detained on the Fourth of July.

The video was uploaded to Facebook, and has been spreading like wildfire.
Two security guards had detained and were about to search people just for watching fireworks. But that’s when a police officer showed up on the scene and said “there is a constitution that I swear an oath to, so don’t freaking mess with it with these citizens. Do you understand me?”
